There's something about that last moment of evening light that never gets old. This painting, Solitude, is inspired by that feeling. The day winding down, the moon already rising, and the world going quiet. This painting grew out of years of wandering dirt roads around the places I've lived. I'm so grateful to have experienced these small moments of peace.
